| Who Should Play “Spider-Man’s” Love Interest? | |
|
It was announced months ago that the new “Spider-Man” reboot would feature Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker. But which lovely young Hollywood starlet should play his love interest? According to the Hollywood Reporter, the character will not be Mary Jane Watson, who was played by Kirsten Dunst in the recent “Spider-Man” trilogy. Gwen Stacy, a character introduced in “Spider-Man 3″ and played by Bryce Dallas Howard, is still a possibility, or it could be some unknown female character. THR revealed several names in talks for the part — Imogen Poots, Ophelia Lovibond, Lilly Collins, Teresa Palmer and Emma Roberts. Zap2it would like to offer a few casting suggestions of our own:
Other names suggested included: Dianna Agron (“Glee”), Lyndsy Fonseca (“Kick-Ass”), Chloe Moretz (“Kick-Ass”), Lucy Hale (“Pretty Little Liars”). Who do you think should play Peter Parker’s new love interest? (Source) |

| Sundance 2010 Preview: HAPPYTHANKYOUMOREPLEASE | |
|
Official Synopsis: Six New Yorkers juggle love, friendship, and the keenly challenging specter of adulthood. Sam Wexler is a struggling writer who’s having a particularly bad day. When a young boy gets separated from his family on the subway, Sam makes the questionable decision to bring the child back to his apartment and thus begins a rewarding, yet complicated, friendship. Sam’s life revolves around his friends—Annie, whose self-image keeps her from commitment; Charlie and Mary Catherine, a couple whose possible move to Los Angeles tests their relationship; and Mississippi, a cabaret singer who catches Sam’s eye. Written, directed, and starring Josh Radnor (CBS’s How I Met Your Mother), happythankyoumoreplease boasts a wryly funny script and engaging performances from its ensemble cast. With honesty and humor, Radnor captures a generational moment—young people on the cusp of truly growing up, struggling for connection, and hoping to define what it means to love and be loved. HAPPYTHANKYOUMOREPLEASE plays at the following times: 12:15 PM Fri, Jan 22 Eccles Theatre |

| This and that | |

I’m getting seriously behind on updates for this site and I apologize for that. I do have tons of stuff that I will be adding this week assuming all goes well. For now, I have a couple little items that have been emailed to me. - Whowhatwear.com chose Kate as their girl of the month. A cute article is included and they call Kate their “current fashion crush”. Click here to read the whole thing. - Rebecca emailed me with the video preview for tomorrow night’s new episode of Entourage and it looks like Kate’s appearances might finally be happening. You can view the preview here and if the girl pouring coffee isn’t Kate, I’ll be very surprised. Thank you Rebecca for the heads up. - I also received an email from Stephen Lacant (the director of Kate’s movie Fireflies) with some excellent news. The film has finally been released in the U.S.! It’s available for download here and I will be posting more info and the photos he included in the email tomorrow. Stephen also pointed out that the movie will be available via amazon.com soon. Thank you very, very much for emailing me Stephen! |

| Kate in Cinderella: The Shoe Must Go On | |
|
I received an email today from Daniela who wanted to know if I could find any information about Kate appearing in a Starlight Children’s Foundation presentation of Cinderella: The Shoe Must Go On. I am still doing some digging, but this is what I’ve found so far. A link to the official site that includes a photo of the promotional poster. I also found a video via youtube that shows Kate on stage. It looks like the performance may be available to buy so if anyone in the UK could look into that and email me with further information, I would greatly appreciate it. You can view the video after the cut. |
